Course Description

Our Acrylic Nails Course will prepare you for the exciting world of becoming a Professional Nail Technician! You will learn how to form and sculpt Acrylic Nails to perfection.
Guided by our nail tech experts, with one-on-one instruction they will assist you to become a highly skilled nail artist.

*Please note Nail Anatomy/Theory is a prerequisite for this course.

Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Spa safety
Infection control
Skin anatomy
Conditions of the skin

Completion Requirements:

Passing our oral & written exam
Demonstrates an understanding of all theory information

Practicum hours to be discussed upon completion of the in-class portion.

Are acrylic nails difficult to maintain?

The hard truth: Acrylics require a lot of upkeep. That most clients with acrylics generally come in every two to three weeks to get them filled. However, as long as any lifting of the acrylic is filled in, a set can be worn for six to eight weeks before they need to be removed.
Do acrylic nails damage your natural nails?

Acrylics aren't anymore damaging than other forms of fake nails—as long as they're properly taken care of. That includes getting them properly removed, regularly filled, and keeping them clean and dry. All of which prevents bacteria from getting into the them and causing infections.
