Course Description

Classic Eyelash Extensions are – as their namesake – classic. They are simple, beautiful, and natural-looking eyelash extensions. They are applied on a 1:1 ratio, which means one extension on one natural lash. This allows you to achieve an understated and natural enhancement. Classic Eyelash Extensions come in a range of materials, thicknesses (1 – 1.5mm) and styles!

*Please note Industry Standards/Spa Safe Theory (GEN 300) & Lash Theory/Mapping (GEN 500) are prerequisite for this course.

Completion Requirements:

Passing our oral & written exam
Demonstrates an understanding of all theory information

Practicum hours to be discussed upon completion of the in-class portion.

How long does the Classic Lash procedure take?

Depending on how many natural lashes you have and how many lashes are being applied, it can take between 80 to 180 minutes to apply a full set. Fills can be done in as little as 45 to 90 minutes.
Can mascara or eyeliner be worn with Classic Lash extensions?

Yes, as long as the mascara is water based. Mascara is NOT recommended for Volume Lashes because it will clump your volume fans together. For eyeliner, make sure it is not waterproof and does not contain oils (cream, or gel eyeliners). Liquid eyeliner or felt tip is recommended.
How often should a person get a fill?

With proper care and maintenance, eyelash fills are typically needed once every 2 to 3 weeks to replace the lashes that have shed. If you wait too long, and there is less than 50% of eyelash extensions left after removal of grown out lashes, you will require a full set.
