Course Description

Radio Frequency (RF) is a technique that uses RF energy to heat the skin with the purpose of stimulating cutaneous collagen and elastin. Currently, the most common uses of RF-based devices are to noninvasively manage and treat skin elasticity (including sagging jowls, abdomen, thighs, and arms), as well as wrinkle reduction, cellulite improvement and body contouring.

Please note Industry Standard and Spa Safety (GEN 300) and Skin Anatomy/Laser Safety (GEN 400) are prerequisite for this course.

Completion Requirements:

Passing our oral & written exam
Demonstrates an understanding of all theory information

Practicum hours to be discussed upon completion of the in-class portion.
